Security and hate speech. Personal safety and data security: rights in the age of social media - copertina

Descrizione

The book is the result of the cultural and organizational experience of the first G7 of the Bar held in Rome on 14 September 2017 and from this originates the aim of building a solid bridge of dialogue and compared experiences among lawyers around the world on the issues of security and protection of fundamental rights in the new information and global environment of the so-called Web 2.0. An innovative and open path of reflection, which requires a constant and dynamic contribution from all those involved: finding a “truth” in online information that is public, private or the result of a participatory process? Should the law be a mere instrument for regulating technology, or the «work of everyone» – a pillar supporting the conscious growth of society and the promotion of shared values?
