The Oregon Trail Diary of 1852: Join the Pioneer's Wagon trains on the adventure of a lifetime!

Once I seen the advertisement video, I knew this was for me! The book arrived fast and I was very pleased with the paperback itself. Nice Gloss cover beautiful front and back graphics of 1840s or 50s paintings. I stopped counting after 50 images in book. The chapters are organized very well and brought me right into that year of 1852. It was cool that they wrote and spoke differently on many things being of the English colonies. I think that Britain and the USA should bring back the word 'forenoon' which means 10 o'clock to noon. The author put in a large glossary of definitions which was very helpful being in the intro section of book. Also in the intro is all the diary writers of the different wagon parties preparing for the over 2k mile trip across the plains. After that it is an awesome day by day diary for months on end. Every single day which i loved that not one day was missed. Other diary wagon parties are joined in to give a full story. The author actually found multiple diaries written from the exact same line of wagons traveling at the same months of 1852..i really liked meeting all the different tribes of indians and the details on what happened. Except the bad ones.The preparations were great but could never prepare them for what tribulations awaited. And the traveller's who survived gave all credit to Gods protection. And after reading this true story, I would totally agree God's protection is the only reason they did survive.i could just tell by reading some of the hopeless situations they were in and then suddenly a miracle.
